When Dartmouth's senior class first arrived in Hanover, N.H., four years ago, the program was in a much different place than as the Big Green near their first Ivy League title since 2011.
Dartmouth coming off a 3-13 campaign, proceeded to go 7-8 with the then-first years. It would prove to be the final season of Amy Patton’s 24-year run as head coach, leading to former Northwestern standout Danielle Spencer, who won three NCAA titles with the Wildcats, being hired that August for her first-ever head coaching job.
Flash forward to 2019 and Dartmouth could win the Ivy League regular-season title with a trip to face Yale, as well as Princeton slipping up against Cornell. Uplifting times have returned for the Big Green, a team that hasn’t made the national tournament since 2013.
