To put it lightly, 2018 was a banner year for college lacrosse in New England.
Both Tewaaraton Awards returned to the region. Five of six national title games featured local programs. On the men's side, a clean sweep was completed by Yale (Division 1), Merrimack (Division 2) and Wesleyan (Division 3). The only demerits, if they can be called that, were Boston College (Division 1) and Middlebury (Division 3) falling in their respective NCAA championship games.
That collective sets the stage for what should be another special year for New England college lacrosse. To continue New England Lacrosse Journal's preview of what's in store, we've named our six Preseason Players of the Year.
Full details are within, as some of the region's top players are highlighted across all genders and divisions.
