NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- While most of the nation has kicked off new college lacrosse seasons, the NESCAC and the Ivy League are still in preseason mode.
Division 3 NESCAC schools play their first games on March 2, while the Division 1 Ivy League gets going this coming weekend. But just because the games start later doesn’t mean they are without competition, as over the weekend, NESCAC power Wesleyan scrimmaged with Ivy contender Yale.
The Elis have been bitten by the injury bug, as both Chris Lyons and Leo Johnson (Greenwich, Conn.) did not dress for the scrimmage. But there were still a few notable standouts.
