Yale men's lacrosse has set the standard for recent excellence in the Ivy League and the nation. After winning a national title in 2018 and getting to the title game in 2019, the Bulldogs looked to be starting a dynasty.
Then COVID hit and the loss of nearly two full seasons affected the entirety of the league.
However, as the 2022 season approaches, Yale is back with a lot of familiar faces and a front-loaded schedule full of early challenges. If iron sharpens iron, the slate looks to be a collection of clanking crowbars.
The 2022 schedule features rematches with classic opponents and national powers alike. Most importantly, it includes a full Ivy League slate.
