Providence College has occupied a unique spot in the hierarchy of New England’s Division 1 programs.
The lone member of the Big East from the region, Providence would sit alone were it not for Brown and Bryant occupying the same Rhode Island territory.
Still, with regular contests against nationally-ranked teams like Denver and Georgetown every year, the Friars are always in for an unforgiving conference slate. There is good news and bad news as that pertains to 2022.
The good news is that Providence has seven home games -- including a four-game homestand in the middle of the season.
