Boston University, UMass and Providence fell in their conference tournaments this week, but other men’s teams from the region have moved on to the penultimate field of play.
Across all three divisions, there are 13 teams from New England remaining in the hunt for conference titles and NCAA tournament auto-bids. A nice place to sit, given the uncertainty that shrouded these seasons just a couple months ago.
Bryant and Saint Anselm will be decided underdogs in their respective conference championship games. Vermont will try to disprove the adage that it’s tough to beat a team three times in a season.
