Due to concerns of the spreading of COVID-19 and looking out for the health and wellbeing of student-athletes, coaches, and staff, the 2020 NCAA lacrosse season came to a screeching halt.

The Ivy League, Patriot League, Big East, and ACC are among conferences that have canceled spring competitions and the NCAA also canceled its spring championships.

Decisions like these are not made lightly, but much of the discussion on social media platforms has been sharing disappointment for the players who are in a situation out of their control, particularly the seniors, who – barring the granting of a fifth-year of eligibility – have played their final collegiate game.

There were a number of seniors having strong seasons, and while this list will not give them the opportunity to play for a championship or step on the field with their teammates and best friends again, it provides a form of recognition of their accomplishments over the course of the brief 2020 season.
