DOVER, N.H. -- The Road 2 Prep showcase at St. Thomas Aquinas High School on Sunday showcased intriguing underclass talent. There were players looking for a place to do a postgraduate year, but the event was stacked with talented freshmen and sophomores looking to boost their academic and athletic chances at the prep school level.
Prep school boys lacrosse coaches from across New England and the rest of the U.S. attended the showcase. The event was spearheaded by Holderness head coach Justin Simon.
Deemer Class from First Class Lacrosse was on hand to push the instruction forward, as well as Goaliesmith instructor Matt DeLuca.
Corey Bulken, a former assistant coach at Hartford, was also present representing the Face Off Academy. All in all, the players received excellent small group coaching from all of the event coaches as well as one-on-one pointers from the prep coaches in attendance.
