Growing up, brothers Jeffery and Thomas Ricciardelli (New Canaan, Conn.) were always close, close enough that they figured to be playing their college lacrosse at the same school.
Now, that school will be Notre Dame.
Taft School coach Nic Bell confirmed Thursday that both Jeffery, a senior attack who holds the program record for goals in a season; and Thomas, a goalie whose stock soared over the summer and fall, committed to Notre Dame after decommitting from Penn.
“They’re very close,” said Bell. “(Notre Dame) was a school they had long considered as part of the process originally.”
