If ever there was a time when La Salle proved just how dangerous the program can be over the course of nine consecutive Division 1 state championships, it was last season.
The Rams’ ability to adjust to their own personnel and switch up their philosophy allowed them to capture a thrilling title win, 9-8, over Moses Brown, which had twice defeated them in the regular season.
This year things will start looking like the old Rams’ up-tempo formula, as they return to their intense out-of-conference play vs. out-of-state powers Garden City (N.Y.), BC High (Mass.), Bishop Guertin (N.H.) and Dexter.
Meanwhile, the Moses Brown girls will look to keep their six-year title run going.
