Repeat: Stratton Mountain wins thriller

By Craig FordeJuly 1, 2017

The first Division 3 title game a year ago wasn’t much on suspense, as Stratton Mountain rolled to a 10-0 victory over Hartford.

However, a rematch in this year’s championship game would prove to be a much different story, yet in the end it was Stratton Mountain again at the top of the peak, following a thrilling 10-9 win that needed three overtimes to determine the champion.

The tournament’s two top seeds were forced to wait things out a few extra days after rain washed out the originally scheduled finals date.
