But in lacrosse, it sure hasn’t hurt.
The Newburyport (Mass.) High School junior, a key part of an MIAA Division 3 championship team as a sophomore, recently made her commitment to continue her lacrosse career at UMass.
She followed up her spring season with an outstanding summer with her club team, the NH Tomahawks, and at showcases where she affirmed her spot as one of the region's best players in the '25 class.
