Growing up with three brothers may not have made Thayer Academy junior Hattie DiBattista the lacrosse player she is today, but it probably hasn’t hurt.
Older brother Ben, who was an instrumental part of Belmont Hill’s championship in the Independent School League this past spring, was particularly helpful during the recruiting process. He is now a freshman at Lafayette
“We’re really, really close,” she said. “He helped me a lot along the way.”
In that sense, DiBattista shares a trait with the region’s other Vanderbilt commit in her class – Claire Levis of Daniel Hand (Conn.).
