We’re a week into the second month of recruiting for the class of 2023, and nearly fifty players from the region have made their college commitments. The recruiting period started with a whimper as the first week of September was rather sparse. But here we are more than 30 days later and the initial salvos have all been fired. It’s as if most of the air has been let out of the ballon.
Nationally, the No. 1 recruit in the 2023 class - McDonough’s McCabe Millon - made his decision to attend Duke this week. The waiting game now begins as a lot of top players are off the board across the nation, not just here in New England. But which college teams have really made their mark in the early developments of the cycle?
