Recruiting spotlight: Luke MacDonald back healthy, thriving

The way Luke MacDonald sees it, an injury he suffered during the winter could have been a lot worse. After all, it could have happened closer to the spring and wiped out his year with Hopkinton (Mass.) High School.

As it was, the 2020 attackman was still able to play in all but seven games and help lead the Hillers to a 14-6 record and spot in the Division 2 Central/East semifinals, where they fell to Concord-Carlisle.

Along the way, MacDonald performed at a high level with 36 goals and 41 assists. But getting over the broken right wrist that happened in a winter league game took time.
