More and more commitments from the Class of 2023 are continuing to trickle in. The last few weeks have seen several players from the region pledge their allegiance to schools across all three divisions.
The Fighting Clams lacrosse club recently had three members of their 2023 squad commit to Division 1 programs.
Cam Elenteny (Stonington, Conn.), a combination attackman and midfielder from Stonington High School, recently committed to play at Sacred Heart. Elenteny considered reclassifying in order to get on the radar of more D-1 teams, but after playing with the 2024 Clams team for part of the summer, he joined the 2023 team and his performances turned the heads of several schools.
