The start of the recruiting season for current high school juniors officially began on Sept. 1. The early commitments were slow to start, but have picked up steam in the last few weeks as we have documented here on our updated 2023 commitment list.
Bishop Guertin has a long history of producing collegiate talent and its 2023 class will continue that tradition. The first three players off the board for the Cardinals all went to Division 1 schools.
Colin Roark (Pelham, N.H.) a shifty long-stick who starred for NHIAA Division 1 champion BG this past season was the first to make his move. He chose Hofstra, which is befitting of his aggressive play style.
“Colin reminds me of Chris Keating,” said Bishop Guertin head coach and NH Tomahawks director Chris Cameron. “But he's a hockey kid, so he's great off the ground and he's a tough, tough player. He has a high skill level athletically and is continually improving.
