Since Sept. 1, nearly 100 players from the region have verbally committed to Division 1 schools.
Most, if not all, of those players, don’t just play for their high school; they are members of a club team. New England has a number of club teams that claim various pieces of the talent terrain, but which ones have produced the most 2023 commits so far? Let’s break it down.
First, we will look at the total number of committed players so far. This isn’t a talent or quality evaluation, it’s more of a volume measurement.
Then we will list the positions that have been committed. It’s interesting to see the variation and distribution of certain positions to certain clubs, especially for specialized positions like goalies, faceoff men and LSMs.
