New England is an interesting and nuanced recruiting hub for Division 1 lacrosse. A lot of players tend to stay local if they do decide to commit to the D-1 process, as we explored in a previous series.
However, breaking down club team commitments is different from breaking down the origin of the players themselves.
Though the majority of players that commit to play at the Division 1 level come from Massachusetts and Connecticut, what sort of talent do the other states in New England produce?
New Hampshire, while not on the same level as Massachusetts due to the sheer population difference, is home to several prep and private schools that produce high-level players. But how many Division 1 players actually hail from the Granite State?
