The Premier Lacrosse League announced on Tuesday the relaunch of the Boston Cannons as Cannons Lacrosse Club, with a new logo and brand identity.
The club was announced last month as the PLL’s eighth team, entering the league through a merger with Major League Lacrosse, which had been in operation for two decades. No other MLL teams were part of the merger.
The relaunch of Cannons LC includes a refreshed logo, marks and brand identity, plus an overhaul of Cannons LC accounts on social media and inclusion on the PLL website (www.premierlacrosseleague.com). The description on the official crest reads: “Forged by the past. Built for the future.”
