The Dover-Sherborn boys lacrosse team claimed the MIAA Division 3 championship once again with a dominant 10-4 victory over Norwell on Thursday.
It’s the sixth state title for the Raiders since 2012 after they shot out to an early lead in the first quarter and never trailed or looked back in the game. A big part of their success, as it has been all season, was their offense.
Senior attackman Pierce Gregory finished with two goals, with the second coming as the offense’s penultimate capper; a smooth and casual finish on a drive from X. Headed to Bryant in the fall, Gregory was the target of the Norwell defense all afternoon long, but he still managed to shake free and deposit a few goals into the net.
