Last week, it was announced that two of the state's most celebrated MIAA lacrosse coaches, Keith Campbell and Bussy Adam, would be making the jump to the college level at AIC.
Now, in a vacuum that's not necessarily newsworthy in and of itself -- except, in this case, both coaches were moving to take charge of one of the most volatile teams in all of Division 2.
Located in Springfield, Mass., AIC has not had much luck in or out of the Northeast-10 in terms of wins. The program went 2-11 last season and has undergone multiple head coaches and staff changes dating back to before COVID.
Now, with a new athletic director in place (former professional World's Strongest Man competitor Rob Kearney), AIC is eyeing to revamp all of its programs.
