Since taking the head coach job at New Hampton eight years back, Justin Simon (Canaan, N.H.) has only experienced success, winning four consecutive Lakes Region titles between 2015-18, while being named the conference’s Coach of the Year back in 2017.
Which begs the question: Why is he deciding to leave the program after another strong season, one where the Huskies finished as runners-up to Brewster in the Lakes Region title game?
To answer that and more, we caught up with the former Bates star attackman.
As it turns out, his latest move is more about family than anything else. It involves starting a new journey at a school he once called home a short drive up north on I-93.
