Paulo Vazquez is the most recent standout face-off man in a long line who have excelled at Bishop Guertin (N.H.) High School.
This spring, Vazquez led BG to its fifth straight NHIAA Division 1 championship, going 16-of-20 through the first three quarters in the final against Pinkerton Academy.
In the last few years, Vazquez has developed into a national top 10 face-off prospect in his class. He has been stacking up accolades ever since he transferred to BG after one season in high school.
He begins the next chapter of his lacrosse career at UMBC, where he is poised to make an immediate impact.
