When Franklin (Mass.) High School product Luke Davis committed to Boston University several summers ago, he could have never known where his positional journey would take him.
As a freshman, Davis ended up seeing action in all 17 of BU’s games, but in order to get those minutes, he had to make a big-time switch.
Davis arrived at BU as a high-scoring attackman. He finished his freshman year as the Terriers’ top short-stick defensive midfielder. To any attackman, that may sound like a nightmare, but Davis managed to make it a point of pride and helped his team get to the Patriot League championship game.
