The region's Division 1 men's teams have Friday off, then it's a fast and heavy schedule once Saturday comes around.

To know what's in store, New England Lacrosse Journal has its weekend preview, featuring the top five games all local fans should keep an eye on. With the Ivy League teams back in action, the level of intrigue just picked up a notch or two.

Of New England's 15 Division 1 programs, only UMass Lowell has the weekend off. However, the River Hawks return to action when hosting Holy Cross on Tuesday. Boston University visits Sacred Heart on the same day for the only other impending midweek matchup.
