While it's still in the 20s and 30s throughout much of New England, the college lacrosse season is starting to get out of first gear.
Following three teams from the region making their 2019 debuts last weekend, another six clashes with local programs are on the docket this go-around.
To take stock of it all, New England Lacrosse Journal has highlighted six games to watch for with a local twist. A common opponent this week? Teams from the Patriot League, while two all-New England encounters also promise plenty of intrigue. Boston University is also set to face a Big Ten program.
