Prep takeaways: ‘Wick holds on, Nobles firing, Thayer climbing

The long weekend that was in prep school boys lacrosse was highlighted by some tight games – but no upsets – in NE West.

What it also did was tease to another big slate of games Wednesday, both out west and in the Independent School League.

The best clash of the “weekend” took place on Thursday, when Brunswick faced Connecticut public heavyweight Darien, a game that could be summed up – and was – as a tale of two halves. More on that below.

Here’s a look at the top takeaways from another packed weekend of prep school boys lacrosse.
