Not even a month into the prep school girls lacrosse season, and there have already been some results that have turned more than a few heads.
Phillips Exeter Academy, with eight Division 1-committed juniors and seniors, knew coming into the season it was built for success. But of its three wins last week, two were of the head-turning variety -- a 13-2 win over traditional power Deerfield on Wednesday and a 15-5 triumph on Friday over St. Paul’s, the class of the Lakes Region.
“Big week,” noted Exeter coach Christina Breen.
In the Independent School League, the early returns are favoring Noble and Greenough.
