Hotchkiss is off to a blistering start in 2022.

Outscoring opponents 73-22 through five games, the Bearcats are keeping their focus on the short term while managing lofty expectations, knowing all too well that the road ahead is laced with challenge.

“We’re trying to keep the perspective that having pressure is a privilege,” said fifth-year head coach Andrew D’Ambrosio.

D’Ambrosio has rebuilt a powerhouse after taking on a team that graduated 16 seniors in 2017. After COVID disruptions paused momentum, a mini-season in 2021 combined with a strong senior class has Hotchkiss back on track.
