GREENWICH, Conn. -- Prep Nationals has quickly turned into a can’t-miss event for lacrosse fans in the Northeast.
For the last three years, Brunswick has played host to three other elite New England prep school lacrosse programs. Last year, the event served as a national championship, with Lawrenceville beating Brunswick in double-overtime to secure the crown and the No. 1 ranking in the national high school polls.
This year, a championship rematch was anticipated coming in, but Deerfield and Salisbury aimed to spoil the script.
Here are our takeaways from Friday's semifinals. The final will be played on Sunday (2 p.m.).
