Some conference tournaments are set to begin before the month is finished. Others will be following right behind, in advance of the first NCAA tournament in two years that is slated to begin with the selection show on May 9 and first-round games on March 14.
There was never going to be a conference tournament for the region’s four teams in the Ivy League. Nor is there one for Holy Cross, which shut down its season last week. Of the 14 other D-1 women’s teams in New England, 10 still have a chance to qualify for conference tournaments if they haven’t already.
