Not only did Jen Barry of Boston University make history on Saturday, it took her only one half to do it.
Coming off a disappointing loss to Colgate, Barry won a program-record 16 draw controls in the first half alone as BU beat Holy Cross, 17-12. Her full-game total of 18 draw controls is the most by any Division 1 player in a game this season.
The win lifted the Terriers in our regional Power Rankings, where the top teams in New England seem to be hitting their strides as midseason looms.
Here is a look at where New England’s Division 1 teams rank.
