We’ve got about three weeks of results to comb through in the Nutmeg State, which is enough of a sample size for some early power rankings.
For now, defending Class LL champion Fairfield Prep holds onto the top spot. A pair of losses over the last week to out-of-state powers pulls the Jesuits a bit back to the pack, where undefeated New Canaan is right on their heels.
In fact, the reigning champion in each of the four classes lost this week, evidence that races across the state are still wide open.
