It will be three more weeks until they close their seasons with their annual matchup, but two of the better stories in New England prep school girls lacrosse this spring have been written by old rivals Phillips Exeter and Phillips Andover.
Exeter (8-0-1) is the only unbeaten team in our Top 10, its only non-win a 10-10 tie against a strong Noble and Greenough team that it couldn't quite bring across the finish line.
Andover (9-3) has won six of its last seven, the only loss during that stretch 9-8 to a good Dexter Southfield team. And the rivals aren't the only teams in New England that are playing well.
