SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — When does lacrosse stop? Possibly never.
Tournaments and showcases don’t stop. If anything, this summer they multiplied. The most recent showcase that I attended took place on the campus of Springfield College.
Jack Piatelli, my podcast host and the founder of Piatelli Lacrosse, put on the event that attracted more than 100 players and two dozen coaches.
The first part of the day was instructional, but after some skill work with the college coaches, the players were split into four teams and pitted against one another.
