Patience pays off for Danny Forren at Limestone

For the better part of the past decade, Limestone has been the team to beat in Division 2 men’s lacrosse. After national championships in 2014, 2015, and 2017, the Saints are at it again this spring, holding the division’s only flawless record.

The Saints are underclassman-heavy, though are anchored by one of the region’s more reliable goalkeepers: Danny Forren (Trumbull, Conn.). The lone New Englander on the roster, Forren arrived in Gaffney, S.C., almost by chance.

“One night I went up to my room and started emailing the top three teams in every division,” Forren said. “Limestone happened to email me back.”
