After a full season auditioning for the job he always wanted, Peter Burke finally got his recognition.

Holy Cross athletic director Marcus Blossom announced last week that Burke would be promoted to permanent head coach of the men’s lacrosse team after serving as interim coach since July 2018. A Walpole, Mass., native, Burke understandably is thrilled to be in full control of the Crusaders.

“It’s an unbelievable opportunity, it’s something I’m extremely proud of,” Burke said. “It’s such a great school with such great people there. It’s just a really awesome school to be a part of. I’m really lucky and excited for the opportunity.”
