Saturday is the day that ramps up men's lacrosse action in the Northeast-10 Conference, with three games on tap. Only Pace, which lost 15-2 to Division 1 Boston University on Feb. 27, has played a game to this point.
Though the glamour teams in the league are Le Moyne, the current top-ranked team in Division 2, and No. 5 Adelphia, there are teams from the region poised to make inroads, a group led by 18th-ranked St. Anselm.
Bentley, which received votes in the latest USILA poll, and upstart Franklin Pierce are also among the teams entering their seasons with optimism. Every team in the league has a story to write and players to watch.
