Last night the National Lacrosse League held its entry draft. While the New England region doesn't currently have a team in this market after the relocation of the New England Black Wolves, several players with ties to the region were selected.
The Philadelphia Wings had the No. 1 pick in the draft and they selected former Duke star Brennan O’Neill, who just finished up his rookie campaign in the PLL with the Denver Outlaws. After O’Neill, the number of Americans taken went down precipitously.
However, there were still some selections with ties to the region looking to make their mark on the indoor game.
