AMHERST, Mass. -- The NLF National Club Championship over the weekend at the University of Massachusetts was a proving ground for several players from both the 2022 and 2023 classes.
Not every job can be done by an attackman, a midfielder or a defenseman. Some tasks on a lacrosse field must be performed by a different kind of player. Winning a face-off, making a save and chasing down a streaking midfielder are all necessary elements of winning.
