Winning isn’t simply a requirement at Derryfield.
It is a livelihood, a culture which longtime coach Chris Hettler has worked arduously to help construct since he first arrived in Manchester back in 2002.
Less than a decade ago, the program was just a small blip on the radar, slowly rising up the ranks.
Now? Today, Derryfield is one of the premier schools for lacrosse in the New England region, winners of three consecutive NHIAA Division 2 titles. The Cougars have not dropped a game since the spring of 2016 (a loss to Division 1 power, Concord), and are currently riding an incredible 64-game winning streak.
