Bishop Guertin (N.H.) has lifted another trophy after defeating Bedford, 15-13, in the NHIAA Division 1 championship game on Saturday.
The difference between this game and those from past seasons is that this was a game that easily could have gone either way.
“It was a very good game and they are a very good team,” said Bishop Guertin head coach Chris Cameron. “Very rarely do we get to match up with teams that are just more athletic than us. And they were. They had a lot of Coach (Zach) Matthews’ football guys out there, so they knew how to win; they knew how to compete.”
The state title was the 13th for BG and the fourth in a row.
