NEWMAC season preview: Coast Guard, Springfield teams to beat

While much Division 3 buzz in New England surrounds the NESCAC, another conference is also ripe with talent, especially on the upper end.

That realm? The NEWMAC, where Springfield has experienced an incredible run of success, Coast Guard seems to be knocking on the door and Babson, Clark and MIT are routinely in the thick of things.

To break it all down, New England Lacrosse Journal has a team-by-team look at each program, including its key losses, key returners, potential breakout players and overall outlook. Three of the NEWMAC's teams made our preseason coaches poll, which featured the region's top 15 squads.
