New Hampshire boys high school lacrosse, as of late, has been dominated by three programs: Bishop Guertin, Pinkerton and Derryfield.
It's comes as no surprise, then, that those teams in the southern part of the Granite State lead New England Lacrosse Journal's preseason coaches poll. Beyond them, the field has some surprises.
This poll of the NHIAA's top teams for 2019 saw nearly 20 coaches vote anonymously. Once ballots were in, point totals were tallied accordingly on our end.
There's also some new talent coming up the ranks in New Hampshire, especially players such as attackman Brian Cameron (North Carolina), defenseman Doug Barker (UMass Lowell) and others moving onto college lacrosse.
