A talented group of Class of 2022 players from the region made a strong showing at the Nike National All-Star Games in Aberdeen, Md., over the weekend, winning four straight games before falling to a team of Maryland All-Stars in their division’s championship game.
The team was selected by area club coaches, with a strong concentration of Laxachusetts and 3D New England players. It was coached by Sean Morris and Dave Evans of Laxachusetts.
“I thought it was pretty good,” said attack Aidan O’Neil of Tabor Academy, one of the top scorers on the New England team and a Utah commit. “I feel we already had a lot of good chemistry. It was a lot of ISL guys. I felt we hit the ground pretty quick.”
