Colleges are back in session throughout the region, and hopefully new college lacrosse seasons are not far behind.
It’s not too early to spotlight some of the top players from the region we’ll have an eye on next spring. These can be players who've collected annual honors, ones who were shining bright when last season ended, or freshmen set to make impacts.
By conference, we identified five players to watch this coming season. Here, we look at women from the NESCAC, one of the top leagues in Division 3. Middlebury has won two of the last four national championships (2016, '19), and Middlebury (No. 1), Tufts (No. 2), Wesleyan (No. 5) and Amherst (No. 9) all concluded last spring's season ranked in the top 10.
