The NESCAC will have a new look in 2024.
A new champion? That remains to be seen.
This season, the best and deepest league in Division 3 — an annual landing spot for many of the region’s top players — is set to look completely different, at least, on paper.
Departed are several of last year’s stars, many of whom were in-demand at the Division 1 level, using grad years at programs in the ACC and Big Ten. At least one powerhouse scorer has departed from almost all of last spring’s top teams, so this season has the potential to be a real renaissance period for the NESCAC.
