The NESCAC is the best combination of academics and athletics in all of Division 3. The conference routinely produces multiple teams that compete in the NCAA playoffs and that trend will no doubt continue into this season.
The top five teams in the NESCAC, outlined in this post, aren’t that much different from last season, but the expectations certainly are.
With all 11 teams back in action after three teams sat out last season entirely, there are more wild cards in play. But will those returning teams upend the hierarchy of the top five?
