Even after a season when three teams elected not to compete, the NESCAC is still the best league in all of Division 3. It's not really an arguable point.
The combination of academic rigor and athletic competition is a huge draw for players from all around the country. Going into the spring season, there is a clear hierarchy of the conference, but the games are still yet to be played.
With the first games less than two weeks away, and teams returning en masse on March 5, a new season is almost upon us.
However, this list could look quite different -- especially towards the bottom -- by the time May rolls around.
